Condition: old flaws and old restaurations, otherwise very good

The inscription reads: 酒者天之美祿也

Sake mono ame kore biroku desu,
Liquor is a pretty reward from heaven.

Matsuya Heizaburô was a sake brewer and curio dealer in Osaka. Nichôsai was his art name. He was a comic writer; writing plays for the puppet theatre (bunraku), and a painter of kyôga – light-hearted comic pictures.
