former Chikuin collection

Seiryô was a painter-poet in the line of Ike Taiga. He was the son of Yamaoka Geppô (1760-1839), Shinryô, 34th head of the Sôrin-ji. Seiryô became Taigadô V, 37th head of the Sôrin-ji.
